The Water Sensor 7 Pro is a sensor designed to detect drips and leaks and help mitigate water damage through the use of wireless coupled technologies such as water shut-off valves.

Battery powered and built on Gen7 and 700 Z-Wave technologies, the Water Sensor 7 Pro was designed as a set-it-and-forget-it product with up to 3 years of battery life.

The Water sensor 7 Pro provides optional automation technologies, including analysis of temperature, humidity and potential risk of mold. These technologies have been specially designed when the Water Sensor 7 Pro is used in humid spaces, such as bathrooms, in order to better manage and protect them.

Leak protection

It doesn't just monitor when the water is going bad. When connected to a Z-Wave automation system, the Water Sensor 7 Pro can take protective action to help limit the amount of damage caused by drips, leaks, bursts, or any other water flow.

Heating management
A sensor with sensors. The Water Sensor 7 Pro monitors the temperature of a room between -10°C and 65°C and with a variation of only ±1°C. This precise environmental data can be used to monitor and manage a room's connected heating or cooling systems.

Air quality management
temperature for comfort. Moisture for health. In addition to ambient temperature monitoring, the Water Sensor 7 Pro measures and monitors the relative humidity of a room between 0% and 80% with a variation of only ±3%.

With real-time humidity monitoring, the Water Sensor 7 Pro can be used to automatically manage a room's air quality, activating exhaust fans in bathrooms and humidifiers and dehumidifiers in others. When managed with a smart home gateway, the Water Sensor 7 Pro can also use aërQ technology to monitor the potential for harmful mold spores to form in a room.

Quality foundation
The accuracy, reliability and compatibility of the Water Sensor 7 Pro starts at its base. With its leaky processor of just 70x30mm, it was built on Aeotec's exclusive Gen7 technology, allowing it to be installed wirelessly almost anywhere in a room and running for 3 years before its only 3.6 volt battery needs to be changed.
